Mass Gathering and Disaster Medicine in the Developing World
Following the great success of EMSSA's initial international conference (held in October 2007 in Cape Town); this conference offers a real opportunity for international experts to help shape the way that the speciality develops in developing world.
Once again several parallel streams looking at different aspects of Emergency Medicine will be run with something for everyone. The emphasis throughout will be on best practices for a resource poor setting, whether this is in the developing world or in hostile environments.
