Prof. Lee A Wallis

- Head of Emergency Medicine for the Provincial Government of the Western Cape.
Lee trained at Edinburgh medical school and graduated in 1993. He joined the Royal Navy in 1991 and, after House Officer jobs, spent 3 years at sea with various ships. He then trained in Emergency Medicine in Plymouth, with a year at Red Cross Children’s Hospital in Cape Town. He has a MD from Edinburgh; his thesis concerned Major Incident triage of children. He lives in Wellington with his wife, Abbi, where they run a guest house and winery.
