SPONSORS
We are actively looking for major sponsors to help support this conference. While we have had many expressions of interest from potential sponsors for the time of the event, we cannot move forward without the involvement of a major partner. EMSSA is a relatively new organisation, whose primary goal is to promote and support the development of emergency medicine in the country. The venue, CTICC, is a world class convention venue offering state-of-the-art facilities with high-tech infrastructure. The centre offers potential sponsors a superb exhibition space in which to attract and interact with the delegates. We expect to attract up to 50% of our delegates from outside of South Africa, with many physicians already having expressed great interest in attending from the USA, UK and Australasia. The October 2007 conference was attended by around 650 delegates from 42 countries.
We would welcome your partnership in not only this congress but in the development of emergency medicine in South Africa. I am happy to discuss any aspect of the conference, and can be contacted at lewallis@pgwc.gov.za, or on +27 21 948 9908.
